MEC MOTLHABANE TO ACTIVATE FESTIVE SEASON OPERATIONS

Road safety continues to be a challenge throughout the year especially during the festive season as a result of incidents and accidents taking place on the roads. The North West MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Dr Mpho Motlhabane will therefore officially activate the 2018 festive season operations.

These operations will run throughout the festive season where law enforcement and road safety officials are expected to be visible on the roads throughout the season. This will help in reducing the increasing number of accidents and crime levels previously experienced during this season.

The department together with SAPS, and other law enforcement stakeholders will officially activate the 2018 Festive Season Road Safety operation that will be held as follows:
